autotune™

The Patented Autotune™ system is at the heart of what makes Nomad lures perform like no other. Its flexible tow point automatically tunes the lure to swim perfectly straight and balanced, no matter the speed or conditions. First developed for the DTX Minnow, this breakthrough design allows for deeper diving, higher troll speeds, and consistently straight tracking.

The system has since evolved on models like the Madmacs, it’s adapted as a top tow point, delivering unmatched stability at high speeds and extra action when slowed down. As a front tow point, Autotune™ adds movement at the line tie, creating a wide, natural swimming action that fish can’t resist. It’s smart engineering, refined by experience, and proven on the water.

hydrospeed

The unique Hydrospeed belly eyelet has been hydrodynamically tested and designed to allow maximum trolling speed, and also provide the optimum hookup ratio when using single hooks in large trolling lures.

gorilla through wire

This Through Wire System has the wire bend around a set of extra plastic supports internally, making the wire less likely to separate from the lure body, and ensuring ultimate strength. The Through Wire is also welded at both ends for increased strength.

matrix metal plate

The Matrix Metal Plate System features a unique design incorporating a stainless steel plate into the body mold of the lure. The plate is incorporated into the lure with a series of small holes at critical locations in the plate, allowing the molded plastic to weave through the metal plate and create the ultimate in strength.

diamond armour

This is a special internal design process we have implemented for use with clear ABS plastic bodies, where we want colours that are see through, or where using the HD ABS plastic is not required. The internal diamond mesh grid pattern creates an internal framework to strengthen the body of the lure, making it far less likely to be crushed or cracked by large predators.

tungsten weight transfer system

The internal weight rolls back to the tail when casting to maximize distance, and then rolls forward when being retrieved to perfectly balance the lure and keep it level when suspending.

hd abs

Normal plastic was simply not strong enough for our lures, so we designed a special formula of High Density ABS plastic, which is a white colour, and is ultimately stronger than any other plastic used for lure production.

Triple Shield

Triple Shield Paint process ensures that the painting process and the quality of the finish on all lures is protected and likely to last longer by applying 3 final coats of a super tough clear resin to the outside of all lures. It provides additional colour depth.

HD Foam

This is our special system of injecting foam into the lure body, which creates extra strength in the lure body, but also means in the unlikely event of a huge fish puncturing the outer HD ABS plastic body, the lure will still function perfectly and still float and swim with the same great action it was designed with.

The Helix30T blank utilizes the latest in 30 Tonne Toray and precise carbon wrapping construction. This process achieves increased sensitivity, strength and blank responsiveness. 45 degree carbon wrapping adds additional power to the blank and increases hoop strength.
