The DTX MINNOW 5” is a revolution in trolling minnows, featuring Patented Nomad Autotune™, Gorilla Through Wire and Hydrospeed advanced design technology the DTX Minnow is in a class of its own.
The DTX Minnow 5” will reach a depth of 20ft when trolled at 2-9 knots. This small and super tough lure is deal for predatory fish like Tuna, Mackerel and Mahi Mahi and will be your first choice in bluewater trolling lures. It is designed to be a small tough lure that runs fast and can be put in your standard trolling spread to imitate a smaller baitfish.
The unique body shape design creates a distressed baitfish swimming action, and the concealed Hydrospeed belly eyelet allows for faster trolling speeds than conventional tow points. Combined with the Nomad designed Autotune™ tow point and bib system, the lure just keeps swimming deep, straight, and true, first time every time.

BKK hardware means confidence with every hook set. Every hook made contains the expertise and cratsmanship of over a hundred years of hook making and gives you the ultimate confidence when fighting big fish.
We ensure that the painting process and the quality of the finish on all lures is protected and likely to last longer by applying 3 final coats of a super tough clear resin to the outside of all lures. It provides additional color depth and ensures that the finish on your lure will last longer.
HD ABS System
Normal plastic was simply not strong enough for our lures, so we designed a special formula of High Density ABS plastic, which is a white color and is ultimately stronger than other plastics used for lure production. These lures also feature a thicker wall construction, meaning ultimate strength and durability.
Gorilla Through Wire
This through wire system has the wire bend around a set of extra plastic supports internally, making the wire less likely to separate from the lure body and ensuring ultimate strength. The through wire is also welded at both ends to ensure you never lose that big fish.
Diamond Armour
Proprietary internal design process used with clear ABS plastic bodies, designed to dramatically increase strength. The internal diamond mesh grid pattern creates an internal framework to strengthen the body of the lure, making it far less likely to be crushed or cracked by large predators.
Hydrospeed Eyelet
The Hydrospeed belly eyelet has been hydrodynamically tested and designed to allow maximum trolling speed and provide the optimum hookup ratio when using single hooks in large trolling lures. The concealed towpoint allows the lure to be trolled much faster than a conventional lure.
Autotune™ DTX
Patented Autotune™ Technology designed by founder Damon Olsen. Allows the lure to self centre, run at very high speeds and go super deep when trolling. Creates more swimming action and is why DTX's catch more fish than any other offshore hardbait.
When nothing seems to want to bite….this color produces….I can’t say why….the holographic paint almost forces fish to eat…
