First stop was the tackle shop to grab an array of the Madscad 190 Autotune SNK Fishing Lure-High-Speed Saltwater Fishing.
Killed these two on the sardine 190 and 200
I am an extremely novice offshore fisherman. My hubs and I watch many sports fishing shows and we saw an ad for the DTX minnows. So, I went out and started researching rods and reels, line types, leader line suggestions, barrel swivels, and tying techniques. 3 months later we were set! 🤪 I had no idea there were soooo many options! Needless to say, we went a little way off shore yesterday out of Murrells Inlet armed with my new DTX 165 minnows in blue and green and pink and black. I had tried to tell the hubs that these were trolled at speeds around 4 mph… but he did want to listen to me… until a friend who is a charter captain informed him to SLOW DOWN! 😬 As soon as he did BOOM! We were on! Caught a nice sized King fish, my knots held (thank you Jesus!) and I landed this 35 incher! Thanks NOMAD for the great design! And the Blue/Green combo was the preferred lure as we also hooked up on another, but the tax man cometh and taketh it away. 😭

The Hydrospeed belly eyelet has been hydrodynamically tested and designed to allow maximum trolling speed and provide the optimum hookup ratio when using single hooks in large trolling lures. The
concealed towpoint allows the lure to be trolled much faster than a
conventional lure.
Proprietary internal design process used with clear ABS plastic bodies, designed to dramatically increase strength. The internal diamond mesh grid pattern creates an internal framework to strengthen
the body of the lure, making it far less likely to be crushed or cracked by large predators.
The ultimate internal strength designed for big fish. Features a uniquely designed stainless steel plate in the body mold of the lure. The plate is fused into the lure with a series of small holes at critical locations in the plate, allowing the molded plastic to weave through
the plate and create the ultimate in strength.
